Which is why its not worth it.

Thanks though. I ran software and quicktime update and it says
everything is fine. So the codecs have not been released yet. VLC will
do for know.

I know. But so many many times I have downloaded a .exe file from a
link and it was a virus! Yes In found this out by copying the file to a
floppy disk with my Mac and then inserting it into my PC.

As does the Treo. Both use the Palm OS.

I certainly would not link to a virus. : )
The link is good, the exe won't do anything, its just the nature of
Palm's urls when the Knowledge Library goes down. I expect we'll have
it back up and running quite soon.

Best

Well it's not the converter you need. It's the playback codec (which is
free). Install it and it gives QuickTIme the capacity to play new
formats it couldn't play before.

Chances are you can find a thrid party codec for that (and it will not
be in software update) but I doubt you'll have it native in QT any time
soon.

The Zire 72's video files are .ASF. The Treo 650's files are .3g2. The
..3g2 files will play in Quicktime.
