Some of my media programs won't open, others do. it give a mesaage staing
that the codec is not able to play the compressed files. It was working fine,
the new update might have caused it. what can i do to unblock the program ?

Finally, try googling on the error message and checking some of the
recommendations in articles covering this message.

Mike, with programs i mean links to some radio or tv stations that i am used
to receive through the internet. Like i said some work and some don't, that
was never a problem. I thought i was using media player 9 all along, but now
i seem to use media player 10.
