cannot complete setup - multiple errors in wmsetup.log

I am getting the same setup feedback for WMP10. Clicking on the wmplayer.exe
file does nothing, and no icons appear. In the wmsetup.log, I have errors
for the following Packages, all which have the same result of 0x800700b7:

DRM10
Codecs10
WMDMCORE10
MPCD10
MPSTUBC10
WMSETUP10

I have XP Home w/sp2 and am the Administrator for the computer (only user).
Any help would be appreciated.
