I am having the same problem. I use the slowest speed; different brands of
CDs. I have a very tall stack of "wasted" CD's. Every once in awhile a CD
will burn correctly. Many times WMP doesn't recognize that I have inserted a
blank CD. I've tried reinstalling WMP 10. My computer mfgr. said to try to
reinstall the driver for the CD writer. Any help will be appreciated.
