I ran the update from: Malicious Software Removal Tool:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/ma...e/default.mspx and then went back to windows update page and was able to install all 4 of my updates. Thank you Linda for posting your suggestion It save me from a rapid hair loss. Took less than 10 hrs from my first posting to installation. A toast to you.
