Windows update problem?

I updated WindowsXP last night and now, although I can use Outlook Express
to access NewsGroups, I cannot upload / download email. I have tried a
broadband and dial-up connection so I am wondering if one of the updates has
caused a problem.

Has anyone else experience this problem?

Yes, since last week's update the activeX controls will not run on MSN
Premium & I cannot send emails - but OK to receive

Asked, answered & resolved in OE6 newsgroup. (Norton LiveUpdate was the
culprit.)
