Every time my pc scans to see if i have the latest update software i get this
messege "Files required to use Windows Update are no longer registered or
installed on your computer. To continue: re-register or re-download. Ive
tried both and I still get the same thing over and over. Ive done everything
ive been told and still cannot update. please help.

Default Re: downloading updates

Some have reported that simply re-registering the MSXML3.DLL seems to fix the
problem.
1. Click Start.
2. Choose Run.
3. In the Run box, type: regsvr32 MSXML3.DLL
Press okay
