I use a Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop running Windows XP Professional. When
Automatic update tried to install "Security Update for Microsoft.NET Framework Version 1.1 Service Pack 1" it failed. The error message was KB886903. Is there anything I can do to correct this problem? Thanks. Rick. |

Couldn't install Run dotnet.exe for a fresh new .net install. Without line 5 all went well copy of line 5: 5. Go to the start menu, then run. Type in "msconfig" and set it to Diagnostic and then reboot to prevent other software from getting in the way of the install. ------------------------------------------------ Succes "Rick56" wrote: > I use a Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop running Windows XP Professional.
