Windows XP Service Pack 2 - download
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

SP2 CD can be ordered online.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...s/default.mspx

You can download updates from the Catalog and save to be installed later.
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.co...en/default.asp

Click Add button for each update you want to download. Once you have what you want,
Click the “Go To Download Basket” link. Type in or browse to the location where you
want the updates saved to and then Click the “Download Now” button.
Once downloaded, you can then burn them to CD.

Default Windows XP SP2 re-installation problem

Any help or advice, please?

I have a (legal, licensed) copy of Windows XP on an 18 month old HP laptop.
Unfortunately, I now need to re-install Windows XP and I have lost my Windows
XP recovery CD. To add to my problems, HP no longer sells the recovery CD for
my particular computer. Would you please advise me of how I can legally use
my existing product key to re-install Windows XP? Thanks!
