James... take this question over to the /WSUS/ newsgroup and I'll be happy to
give you an indepth answer to accomplishing this migration. (The good news: it's fairly easy and straightforward.) You'll find the /WSUS/ newsgroup by selecting the Windows Server Update Services link from the same page you found this newsgroup at. The direct URL is http://www.microsoft.com/technet/com... date_services "James V" <James V@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:4AA44217-4B69-4DC7-BAD8-2AA192C727CD@microsoft.com... > is there anything special i should know about migrating wsus from on eserver > to another? some configuration file i should move, or some other tidbit that > would be vital for the software to function properly? or do i have to just > install from scratch and setup everything again? thanks in advance. |
