Same 2 critical updates everytime I go to the update site???

I am using windows ME, everytime I go to the winupdate site it tells me I
need the same 2 updates (1) win media player script commands update
(KB828026) and (2) cummulative security update outlook express 6 service
pack1 (KB837009). I download, install and then next time I go back to check
for more updates it tells me I need the same 2 updates. when they download
it tells it says notheing about the update not working it says
download/install worked OK.

As for the WMP update, try downloading the update from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...7-211de4bf9bd0
and installing it manually. (That link is for the update for Windows Media
Player 6.4, Windows Media Player 7.1, or Windows Media Player 9 in WinME.)

To assure a clean install of anything, including Windows Updates, your
anti-virus application should be disabled and all other running processes
(e.g., WMP) closed before beginning the install.
