Default New motherboard

I have a PIII running Win XP pro and I am changing the motherboard and
therefore need to purchase and install a new version of win XP Pro. :-(
Once I replace the motherboard windows will no longer start. How would I
install the new version of win XP Pro and keep all the system attributes,
start menu, DLL files, etc.? Should I load the new Win XP Pro as a repair?

Barb

You may only need to obtain a new XP if your old one is a BIOS locked OEM
version.. try a repair install with what you have, and if that doesn't want
to play ball, then get a new retail copy..
