E.g. few hits for Infeon but lots of hits for Infineon which appears to be the name of an OEM. http://www.infineon.com/cgi-bin/ifx/...geTypeId=17099 No it's the other way around. ADMtek is an OEM which was bought by Infineon. http://www.infineon.com/cgi-bin/ifx/...ntentType=NEWS > and now i get > this thing telling me to update it and it shuts off my computer right in the > middle of what i am doing.to the shop it goes it is under warranty thank god > may get a new one if they can fix this, i guess unless anyone knows a fix for > this? Try backing off the driver update? This is probably the KB article that Jeff was referring to and probably explains why he couldn't use it (not for his OS). <title>KB306546 - HOW TO: Use the Driver Roll Back Feature to Restore a Previous Version of a Device Driver in Windows XP</title> HTH Robert Aldwinckle --- > "JEff" wrote: > >> Sorry...
