Hi guys - After months of NOT having windows update enabled after the last
time my laptop crashed, I enabled it and downloaded the latest updates and immediately got the same problem as you've been describing. Has anyone come across a solution?? - Maybe Microsoft has sorted it and maybe they can help. Thanks, Fireblade "Vic" wrote: > I have the very same problem, I'm using Windows XP Pro/ 5.1.2600 Service > Pack 2 v.2093 Build 2600. > > After Installing all the updates and rebooting my computer just continues to > reboot over and over again just before it gets to the LOG IN Screen. I thought someone might now how to stop the machine from rebooting so that I
can read the blue error screen. This has happened with a computer. I tried reinstalling XP but the install reboots when it reaches a certain point. Plans are to clean install XP on a new hard disk and then try to salvage the registry information and programs off the old one.
