How do I download or "catch" a driver update from Windows Update?
I need to install the driver on machines with no internet access, so I prefer to the driver downloaded. I have been to update.microsoft.com trying to download the driver manually but I can not find it. I am looking specifically for the symbol usb com port emulation symbol technologies inc human input software update Thanks in advance Mitja Semolic |

How to download updates and drivers from the Windows Update Catalog or from
the Microsoft Update Catalog: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;323166 That being said, I'd recommend that you only download driver updates for Symbol Technologies applications from http://www.symbol.com/legacy_downloads/. Experienced users seldom if ever use drivers offered at Windows Update, Mitja. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE, Shell/User, Security), AH-VSOP Mitja Semolic wrote: > How do I download or "catch" a driver update from Windows Update? > > I need to install the driver on machines with no internet access, > so I prefer to the driver downloaded. > > I have been to update.microsoft.com trying to download > the driver manually but I can not find it. > > I am looking specifically for the > symbol usb com port emulation > symbol technologies inc human input software update > > Thanks in advance > Mitja Semolic |
