Hello All,
I've got a number of computers running VS .Net 2003 which require the KB830348 patch (VS7.1-KB830348-x86.exe). When I attempt to install it on a number of them, the Just-in-Time debugger pops up with the error System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException has occurred in mscorlib.dll. This seems to occur right before the Windows installer dialogue box would become visible to show you the progress. I've uninstalled all traces of .net framework and reinstalled them, along with the 830348 patch, with no avail. It seems like the only way to get the patch to apply is to uninstall and reinstall VS .Net 2003 and then run 830348. I'm curious if there is anyone that has found another solution to this issue? I'm trying to avoid doing the reinstalls on all the computers if possible. Thanks |
