My comp updated to windows update v6 this morning and sometime between then and now I turned off the JIT compiler for virtual machine (in internet options)... I turned it back on and ....voila, it worked. Coincidence? I dunno. Try it if you have it turned off. Posted by Benjamin Lim Are you using Norton Anti Virus v9.05.15? If you are there is an option to enable/disable Script Blocking. Disable it. Then perform your update. Hope it help. I had this same problem until I was looking into another problem.
