Server 2003 failure when installing SP1
When I try to use windows update to install Server 2003 SP1 it downloads the
small installation file but then just states the installation failed. It doesn't provide further details. Does anyone know why this would happen or where I can find out more information on the server or why the upgrade failed?

Try the Network Installation instead of the Express Installation:
