I can't believe after reading a posted solution by 'Sigmund' - it still
didn't 'click' with me that the CD which my computer was prompting for during installation of SP3 was "Office-XP with Frontpage" and not "Windows XP Professional" Operating System CD - I kept on loading up the XP Professional CD and getting the message that 'the required file could not be found'. When it finally dawned on me (today) that the CD I needed was 'Office XP with Frontpage' not "Windows XP....", I re-tried the installation and when prompted, put in the correct CD and - no problem - SP3 installed without a problem. Thanks Sigmund - I'll try drinking a cup of coffee next time I'm reading the communities solutions, so I'm more awake....
