Default Shut Down

I recently installed windows XP Proffessional onto my system. Now, when I
shut the computer down, it automatically restarts itself about 2-3 minutes
after I had shut it down. Anyone else experience this?

This is the wrong group to ask... however, look here:

If it shuts down completely before restarting, look for something in the BIOS and/or the Device
Manager, that's waking it up. Probably the Modem (Device Manager), or LAN settings (BIOS - Wake
on LAN)
