Hi,
Yes, so did I. The Datastore folder (or the content in it) is what contains the history information. When deleting the Datastore folder, you should delete the Download folder as well. wubing wrote: > I mean the Windows update history log. > > "Torgeir Bakken (MVP)" <Torgeir.Bakken-spam@hydro.com> wrote in message > news:OQDt%23219FHA.2644@TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl... > >>wubing wrote: >> >> >>>Did anyone know how to clear windows update v6 history? >>>Try to remove WindowsUpdate.log doesn't help. >> >>Hi, >> >>You need to delete the folder DataStore located here: >> >>%windir%\SoftwareDistribution\ >> >>(%windir% is typically C:\Windows) >> >>You can use the procedure described here: >> >>http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.co...cleid=11&ln=en >> >> >> >>-- >>torgeir, Microsoft MVP Scripting, Porsgrunn Norway >>Administration scripting examples and an ONLINE version of >>the 1328 page Scripting Guide: >>http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scr...r/default.mspx > > > -- torgeir, Microsoft MVP Scripting, Porsgrunn Norway Administration scripting examples and an ONLINE version of the 1328 page Scripting Guide: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scr...r/default.mspx |
