Start/Run/type: %windir%\softwaredistribution
Now open the download folder The updates that are available there are in file folders. To view which one they relate to, open the folder, look for a folder called update. Open that, and there should be a CAT (Security Catalog file) - this will advise you which update for example KB896344.CAT "drg" wrote: > Anyone know where windows update site puts the update files or patches at on > your hard drive and if its possible to capture these files and keep them for > later use in case of a reinstall > > > > |
