.NET Framework 2.0; X86 (KB829019) won't install
Through Windows Update page, the software mentioned above is listed as an
available download. I currently have .NET Framework 1.1 installed, but the ..NET Framework 2.0 will not install. It has downloaded supposedly, but won't install. Update page gives me install failed.

Did you try going to the .NET Framework page and downloading it directly as
opposed to using WindwsUpdate?
