error codes

a friend of mine told me to custom install updates, but each time i go to the
windows update site i get an error code, 0x804001d, with a message that there
is a problem with the web page..... am i doing something wrong
also a security update comes up on my computer to be installed, when i
click ok a message comes back saying update could not be installed

Hello Jason,

Google and Yahoo cannot find error code: 0x804001d,
could you please verify if it is correct? If it is that means is
a new error and not Archived yet.
