Got this error when trying to implement windows update, asking to verify and
update the date and time parameters. Date and time are correct.

Any ideas?

Did you also check the Time Zone ?
Did you also re-register the softpub.dll?

When searching for available updates on the Update site, you see the 0x80072F8F error
while looking for available updates
http://update.microsoft.com/windowsu...=en&IsMu=False

Register Softpub.dll
Click Start. Choose Run.
In the Run box, type regsvr32 SOFTPUB.dll.
Click OK.
