I realized when I was writing this post that I had only done warm reboots so
I tried a hard boot. This seems to have worked and the update has now installed. I don't know why, but I'm happy just the same! "duwest" wrote: > I have tried to install this update several times (w/reboot) always with the > same error code 0x652. |

I was told that their is a problem with the download and it will explain by
going to the Microsoft directory and check KB867461 (knowledge Base) I hope this helps you as I had the same problem. Also you need NETFramework 1.1 service pack 1 which you can download from the Microsoft NETFramework. Be sure you are the administrator for the PC. I had the same problem. Yhis is a suggestion anyway, Good Luck ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "duwest" wrote: > I have tried to install this update several times (w/reboot) always with the > same error code 0x652. |
