I believe changing the Office Source Engine to automatic or enable will fix
your problem.

No, neither setting it to auto nor manual starting/restarting it, makes any
difference.
Also we have many PCs here working with "manual".

This is similar to another user's (Mike) incident in July.
See if the diagnostics I suggested to him give you any clues.

The key detail it seems to me in both cases is that you both are users
who might not be using an English version of the product yet both are
getting an update for that (assuming "Product Language 1033" implies
a patch is meant for an English version of the product.)
