Today's auto update includes this "Update for Windows XP (KB910437)". I
usually check the MS site for authenticity. Can anyone else find info on this
the MS site?

And if you go there to download it, you have to jump through the genuine
advantage validation hoops!!!!!

I thought that Microsoft said that security updates/patches would NOT
require users to go through the validation process when downloading security
updates or bug fixes.
This one especially as it's a bug fix for the Update website software....

I thought the genuine advantage validation tool was only to be available
through the update website....

Then there's the fact that it's NOT mentioned in the December update
bulletin at all, even though the update website insists it's an IMPORTANT
update.

C'mon Microsoft you've been making users get updates through the update
website for over a year now, we shouldn't be having to deal bugs/problems
like this any more!!!!!!
