Mark,
They take up space on the HD; they have *nothing* to do with memory. This page has a method for removing the uninstall packages for updates that are not causing any issues : I want to Save Space and delete unnecessary files after installing a Windows Update patch or Service Pack. http://www3.telus.net/dandemar/spack.htm MowGreen [MVP 2003-2006] =============== *-343-* FDNY Never Forgotten =============== Mark wrote: > how can i have my updates not take up so much memory on my HD... i still > want the updates but i want the new updates to some how replace the old > updates...right now all my updates take up a lot of space on my HD and now Im > down to 100Mb in my HD out ot 80 Gb.... |
