when trying to update get error # 0xB00B0001.says website encountered a
problem and cannot display page. our computer is set for automatic updates
but do not think we are getting those.

can anyone help solve this?

Are you sure it's 0xB00B0001 and not 0x800B0001?

re-register the Softpub.dll, Wintrust.dll, Initpki.dll, Dssenh.dll, Rsaenh.dll,
Gpkcsp.dll, Sccbase.dll, Slbcsp.dll, Mssip32.dll, and Cryptdlg.dll files

When searching for available updates on the Update site, you receive the 0x800B0001
error.
