Default Dec 17 Updates caused problems

On Dec 17 automatic updates added Windows XP (KB10437), Cum Security Update
for IE (KB905915) and malicious software removal tool KB890830.

Now when trying to use a frequent website I get kicked out of the internet
back to my desktop. What do I need to change to fix this? It is a security
setting that I do NOT want.

Default RE: Dec 17 Updates caused problems

there isnt a fix as such more of a workaround ,
i re-installed SP2 and then installed (using the custom option on the
windows update page) all updates except KB905915.
u might want to turn of automatic updates too as they will keep trying to
install KB905915.
i mailed windows update and recieved an automated reply which included
"A Microsoft professional will respond to you in e-mail within 1 business
day."
that was 2 business days ago . and im still waiting.
maybe santa will come early and deliver a fix ....

What website? What does "I get kicked out of the internet back to my
desktop" mean?

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1

It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
