1. Download the WinME-specific update from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...7-211DE4BF9BD0 and Save it to your desktop. 2. Log on as Administrator. 3. With Windows Media Player and all other windows closed and with your anti-virus application disabled, double-click on the saved file to install it. 4. Reboot. 5. Does Automatic Update or Windows Update still say it's needed? -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE, Shell/User, Security), Aumha.org VSOP, DTS-L.org RosieO wrote: > Kb828026 > -- suposed;y this one was updated automaticly Dec 12. 21, 24 and all > successful! > Rose > > > "PA Bear" wrote: > > > And the update number would be...? > > > > RosieO wrote: > > > I have my computer set to automatic updates.
