Default widows update

I have my computer set to automatic updates. But when I check to see if
there are any updates I keep getting message to update a critical update and
it is logged in on my history as being done! I am using Windows Me

1. Download the WinME-specific update from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...7-211DE4BF9BD0
and Save it to your desktop.

2. Log on as Administrator.

3. With Windows Media Player and all other windows closed and with your
anti-virus application disabled, double-click on the saved file to install
it.

4. Reboot.

5. Does Automatic Update or Windows Update still say it's needed?
