Only install the Optional Updates if you determine you need them.
You should install all Critical Updates. Generally do not get Driver Updates from Windows Update. Instead, get them from the hardware manufacturers website. -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar http://www.dts-l.org "Carianne" <Carianne@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:96CFC86A-0FF0-42E6-A7A9-BECC15BDCC04@microsoft.com... > > I had to reinstall xp and am presently updated on all updates these were > listed under optional. Craig;
Sounds like you need a video driver. Go to the laptop manufacturers website and get the latest video driver for your operating system. Otherwise since this is a Windows Update newsgroup, you should ask further questions in a newsgroup specific to your operating system: http://aumha.org/nntp.htm -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar http://www.dts-l.org "craig" <craig@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B1B227CD-D2FF-4970-8D92-754F509ACF6D@microsoft.com... >i am havein problems with my laptop it has started up fine apart from all >the > displays are fuzzy what do i do |
