Default .Net Framework missing files

Hi,
Something has gone terribly wrong. I deleted all my old email in MS Outlook
and was no longer able to send and receive email in my accounts. I used my
Norton Windows scan for problems and found that 10 .Net Framework files are
missing.

Is there a correlation, and how do I repair or reinstall the missing files?

Please help!

This is a common problem with Nortons reporting a specific file being missing. It happened to me and
has happened to others. Can't remember the specific file. Just search for the file on your harddrive
and then copy it to the Windows\system32 folder and that should keep Norton's happy.

Hi Kaylene,
Any idea if the .Net Framework files could affect my sending and receiving
email? I can no longer do that in Outlook.

Not related to .Net Framework files.

Have a look at this article for some information
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...= bar_sch_nam
Cannot send or receive email with regular email, such as Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express after
installing Norton Internet Security

Had this problem on a friend's computer with NIS (not a fresh install). Had to remove and then
reinstall NIS in the end.

See the above link

When posting advise your OS and what Version of Outlook you are using and what you've already done
to rectify this problem.
