My Panda-antivirus has just told me that there's a weakness in my
windowssystem and I have to do some updates. I already found this strange 'cause normally it's updated automatically. Then I try to update, and it fails. In updatehistory I notice that it's about 2 parts of the update: -KB898461: Update for Windows XP -KB892130: Windows Genuine Advantage-validationhelpprogram It shows this errorcode (0x80200010) and I can't find an explanation for this in 'problem solving'. I've recently managed to remove Spyaxe, don't know if it's sth to do with that.. |

I just got the same message from Panda and also got yhe same eorrors when I
tried to apply the updates. you are not alone. Me too---same error and I also have Panda!!! Help! Anyone have a clue why???

same thing here....i also run Panda software as well....i have no clue how to

Me, too! At least I'm not alone. At first I thought it was a problem
because I use Mozilla Firefox for my browser but not... Get this problem using IE 6.0. I think we have a Panda issue since my Panda shows it just downloaded an update...must be the problem. We all need to go to Panda and post a "complaint"! It's obviously not a microsoft problem...or is it?? Add one more who uses Panda. As I bought it through Staples, I have free
telephone support. I need to wait a day or so for my registration to go through as I will be doing the newest regular update and then see if it helps the problem. To one Oregonian (and the rest of you) from another Oregonian: In case you
have not picked up another thread entitled "0x80200010," I'll clue you in: the problem is with Panda and there is a fix. If you have version 2004, there is a patch (see Jose's hyperlink to the Panda website) or if you have version 2005, you'll have to download the program update (the whole enchilada) from pandasoftware.com.
