I have a new Dell computer running Windows XP home edition SP2 factory
installed. When I try to access windows updates, it will search for new updates for a minute or so and then I get the error message that it can't open the web site and the error code 0x8024001D. I am running the Windows XP firewall, Symantec antivirus and Earthlink Accelerator. Any suggestions? Can I manually download the updates? Thanks for your time. |

I should also add that I am on a dialup connection if that makes any
difference. Also, when accessing this site, I can reply to a message but it won't let me post a new topic. I am using another computer right now so I can post here. Any ideas on that problem? Thanks.
