I just recently updated my exchange server to Server 2003 SP-1. After it was
complete, I realized that the available space on my C:\ was a lot less than previous. I ran TreeSize Pro on it to determine what the culprit was and found a couple new folders in the System folder called ServicePackFiles and SoftwareDistribution. They're taking up a ton of room that I can't afford to lose. Now that SP-1 is complete, is it safe to delete these folders? Can I also delete the $NtUninstallKB#####$ ? Thank you. |

Andy;
Service Pack Files may be essential if you later have problems. Those files in conjunction with the CD are used by SFC. But the uninstall files may be safely deleted as well as the contents of the download folder. http://www3.telus.net/dandemar/spack.htm -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar http://www.dts-l.org "Andy Siegel" <AndySiegel@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C7AED63B-DF05-46BF-B087-EF62D58CDA0C@microsoft.com... >I just recently updated my exchange server to Server 2003 SP-1.
