Default HELP with Windows 2000 server not auto updating itself

I have a Windows 2000 server with Auto Updates set to download and
auto install every day at 5:30 AM. For some reason it simply does not
automatically do this! When I come in I see the globe icon indicating
that there are updates waiting to be installed but they just pile up
until I manually install them.

I've checked the Control Panel, Auto Updates and it shows that I have
the server set to automatically download and install at 5:30! I just
never happens.

Is there something I can check to see WHY this isn't happening? Or a
registry key that could be blocking this?

Any help is appreciated.
