Windows Log On Password

I changed one of my laptops from domain to workgroup, in doing so something
happened to my password. I can't log on as an admin account or user account
is there a way to get back into the system control panel without being able
to log on to windows?

Boot into Safe Mode and log into the default Adminstrator account. The
default password for this account is blank.

While in Safe Mode you can create a new user account for yourself with
Administrator privileges.

You will want to restart your system, at the reboot press F8 several times
to get into safe mode. Log on as the adminitrator (you) press cancel for
the password.
