Once you're in XP in Safe Mode, Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel
(ensure the box for hide updates is NOT checked) and remove it. Then visit your motherboard manufacturer's website and look for a BIOS update. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Printing & Imaging "James Potterton" <James Potterton@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B513AAEC-123E-417B-A5AE-AAA67890A6F2@microsoft.com... >I have just downloaded and installed SP2, however, after i restart it wont > load up, it will reach the xp logo and the scrolling bar and restart., but > will work fine in safe mode, which is how im doing this. > > Any advice would be much appreciated > > If its any use im running an AMD athlon 64, MSI board and corsair RAM > |
