I've lost the ability to type upper case "M" and "K" on my main computer
running XP home version. I've tried different keyboards and checked for viruses. I can't find anything on the net referring to this problem. I have several user accounts on the computer, and strangely it happens only on the administrator accounts and not any of the limited user accounts. It happens in MS Word, note pad and any program that allows text entry. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Thanks in advance, Mark |

FOUND!
I had a similar issue (different keys) but this is the solution I found: After a few hours of sleep and a stiff cup o' coffee, I discovered the solution (key)to the loss of key functions. "STICKY KEYS" option in accessability control panel (go figure?) Although I did view this option in the panel (unchecked boxes), I didn't realize that if the options were in effectivley active -but not selected in the ACCESSABILITY OPTIONS control panel(indicated with checked box) they would automatically activate (or de-activate the keys) when two keys are pressed simaltainiously, which happens to me often when typing rapidly. I don't know why thisfunction would be considered helpful to anyone, but that's the solution I found today. p.s. there is no mention of it in the manual anywhere- considered a software issue I guess. Good luck. "Soberscott" wrote: > I also have lost functionality of the keys "q,w,e,r,u,i,o,p".
