What is the message coming from? XP's security center? If yes, I believe Symantec has updates at their website that lets their program communicate its presence and status with the security center. Also in Security Center (double click on its tray icon to open), you can select "Change the way security center alerts me" and uncheck the box for the antivirus alerts. -- Sharon F MS-MVP ~ Windows Shell/User |
