Hey,

I have the same issue, tried every variation suggested by the knowledge folk
including cleanup utility. That little gem denied acces for the same reason
as I cannot enter Excel "windows installer could not be accessed...if in safe
mode..."

The only thing I don't know is if I am in safe mode...but highly unlikely.

Oddured yesterday afternoon after attempting to instal SP2, again, and
succesfully installing a couple of minor office downloads.

Frustrated is not nice since my business files are in Excel!
