Hi Everybody,
Please someone help me!!!!!!!! I recently purchase a HP Palvilion zd 8000
laptop, Media Center, 2005 with SP2. I am using Windows XP Home Edition. I
have installed Webroot Spy Sweeper and Norton AntiVirus and both are current
or upto date. The problem started with the SP2 update errors everywhere,
screen flickering, system shuting down, and setting not staying. I could not
get it tried everything I knew which is nothing. Finally did a sytem restore.
Now the problem is that Media Center will play CD but not DVD. So I went into
Safe Mode to see if I could install the correct plug-ins which I found on
Microsoft web site but not I can not get out of Safe Mode and if I do it goes
to cdm.ex mode and will not accept any command. So I am stuck in Safe Mode
and can not get out.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! When you tell me how to fix this mess please be
very simple with the instructions and the lingo because I am very new to this
and don't understand alot of the terms. So please be gentle with me. I am
trying but I am also ready to throw my laptop out the window.

me and being understanding to my lack of knowledge on this subject.
