i bought a 256mb flashstick for my laptop because i don't have a floppy on
this system...but to my dismay i am missing a driver that would allow me to
use this on here....does anyone know if i can download the driver?...and what
is the name of it???..i am very computer stupid!!!....so please be
gentle....thanks...oh and i bought this computer from someone else so i don't
have any of the original software that came with it.....hopefully waiting for
help.....(helpppppp).....thanks again...

Try the manufacturer's web site, usually there are drivers available.

XP should have recognized it no matter what brand.
in other words xp requires no driver
it should be available when you stick drive in usb port.
check my computer and see if shows up in "devices with removable
storage">removable disk drive ( ).

or go to mfg web site. it probably tell you that no driver is available or
needed for xp.

for win 98, there is a driver available.
