This is a minor annoyance, but when I set the properties for a folder to
display "details" or set another for viewing pictures the change seems
to work for a while but when I re-visit the folder it has changed to
another setting - such as details to icons or thumbnails (pictures) to
details.

Also, when I set the folders properties to include sub-folders, it
sometimes takes, but not when pictures are involved.

I do have a mix of folder properties, but most are either details or
pics (thumbnails).

Any way to get more stability and still have a mix?
