Default Win XP backup ulitity.

I have a Seagate STT 200004 SCSI Sequential tape drive with Seagate's Travan
20 tapes, 10/20 GB.
Win XP backup utility won't erase these tapes. When I ask it to erase, it
just set's there and won't do anything.
I have "Stomp" backup software that will but I want to use the Windows
utility.
Is there any updated drivers for this utility?

Thanks,

Bud Z

I don't know the answer to your question, but I have a comment. I've never
used the Stomp software, but I 've heard good things about it. On the other
hand, the built-in Windows backup program is very primitive. Why do you want
to use something that doesn't do what you in preference to something that
does?

My point exactly, the windows backup utility software is primitive.

So? Why not forget about it and use something better, especially since you
already have something better?
