I'm trying to collect all the ICO icons on my hard drive and save them in
one folder for use as favicons in Firefox bookmarks. A search found 307 of them. When I tried to copy and paste them into that one folder, I get the "Error Copying File or Folder" warning, with "Cannot copy file: Cannot read from the source file or disk." Picking several icons to copy and paste at a time works OK. But which icons would cause the warning? Here's a shot of the search results window. http://www.rcblue.com/Misc/favicons.png Thanks, Jack |

Hi,
Any one that is currently in use or is possibly cached by an active application could be the cause of the error. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Associate Expert - WindowsXP Expert Zone www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone Windows help - www.rickrogers.org "Jack Crane" <jdcrane7@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:Xns973637EB24322jdcrane7yahoocom@207.46.248.1 6... > I'm trying to collect all the ICO icons on my hard drive and save them in > one folder for use as favicons in Firefox bookmarks. > > A search found 307 of them.
