I get this error message when shutting down the computer. It doesn't not seem
to effect computer at all when running or shutting down. I can't see any problem other than nuisance error message. I have "googled" and am reviewing the 57,000 hits but would like to see if anyone can help speed things up. The computer is a Compaq Presario SR1010NX with XP Home with SP1 and some windows updates. I installed all pre-SP2 Compaq suggested updates and then installed SP2 from MS SP2 CD. I didn't have error prior to updates. Any help would be appreciated. TIA Dennis |

Thanks.
I hadn't "googled" for "MyWebSearch Email plugin". Seems like a very modest threat. Only thing one was entry in registry from program being in Startup folder. easy enough to remove once identified. thanks again. Happy Holidays to you!!!
