Default Windows Explorer - Choosing the default directory layout on startup

Windows Explorer opens with DESKTOP/MY DOCUMENTS open in the FOLDERS pane.
I prefer to have it
open to MY COMPUTER/LOCAL DISK C:, showing the basic files and the various
drives on C. How can I reset the default listing?
Thanks.
Bob

Right click the shortcut you use to Start Windows Explorer and choose
Properties. Change the Target field to

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e, c:\
